At least 72% of adult Filipinos were satisfied with President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s administration, according to the survey released by OCTA Research on Tuesday.
Based on OCTA's non-commissioned "Tugon ng Masa" survey conducted in March, only 8% of respondents were not content with the government's performance during the first quarter of the year, while 20% said they were uncertain.
Meanwhile, the current satisfaction rating shows a decrease of 4% from the last survey conducted in October 2022, wherein 76% claimed that they were either "very satisfied" or "somewhat satisfied" under the leadership of the Marcos administration.
According to the most recent survey, 83% of adult Filipinos in the Visayas reported feeling satisfied.
Balance Luzon (regions of Luzon outside of Metro Manila) came in second with 77%, Mindanao in third with 67%, and Metro Manila in fourth with 51%.
When it comes to socio-economic classes, satisfaction was highest in class D at 74%, followed by class E at 68%, and class ABC at 67%.
Filipinos aged 55 to 64 gave the government the highest satisfaction rating (81%) across all age categories. The rating fell to 61% among those 65 and older.
According to OCTA Research, 1,200 respondents were interviewed face-to-face for the poll.
The poll has a 3% margin of error at a 95% confidence level.
